Come enjoy a morning hike on SATURDAY, OCT 11 at MATTHEW / WINTERS PARK in the foothills outside Morrison, CO.
We’ll meet in the parking lot at 7am and enjoy the morning hiking up to the top of the ridge (where I took the pic shown). At the top, we’ll pause for a hot beverage and I’ll be reading some of my poetry from my new book, “The Buried Stream”, as well as sharing some stories about where the poems came from.
Please bring your own cup and a jacket/blanket for the top (it can get chilly sitting at the top!), as well as something to sit on if you’d like. You can also bring a snack to have with your beverage. :)
HIKE DETAILS:
7am - 11am
This is a MODERATE hike with some elevation gain and rocky spots.
5-6 miles, about 2.5-3 hrs of actual hiking
