We’re all just holding it together.

Navigating our own stormy seas.

It gets a little complicated.

Navigating both you and me.

Many years ago, I wrote the opening lines above to the song “Human to Human”. I never could have imagined the worlds this song would open up, and the way it would foster relationships and create a welcoming, soft space for connection.

We’re all fragile creatures doing our best.

Each other’s teachers each with our own mess.

It’s a work that exceeds us, but still heeds us to come.

Lean in to the work of human to human.

Human to Human, as a context for conversation, being, and becoming, has become a creature of its own agency and energy I’ve watched slowly unfurl over the years. It started as a song, then a weekly Sunday Letter, and now, it’s expanded to a podcast and a Substack.

All these spaces create room for the conversation of Human to Human, of how to be here in these human bodies, how to be here together, and be here “subject to subject” as beings who are inextricable part of the greater natural world.

Each of the smaller Human to Human spaces create ample room for us to explore through conversations, invitations, and questions the vast inner and outer landscapes of our experiences. They offer a place to reflect, grow, and play.

I look forward to the conversations we get to have in the days ahead.

Welcome to Human to Human.

Three Spaces for Conversation

  • Podcast

I love getting cozy around a fire, at a coffeeshop, or on the couch and having a good chat. The podcast is a space to have longer, slower conversations.

  • Sunday Letter

Birthed in 2019, my Sunday Letter is a space to share weekly musings, insights, and reflections, written in the form of a letter. It’s also a space for updates on my music, writing, and other offerings.

  • Substack

A place to reflect, explore, play and grow as we learn to be here, to be human. I share more regular writing and work here. It’s also a space for community as we lean into being human.
